Chris Cooke has a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Cardiff University. After graduating, Chris joined a global chemicals manufacturer, where he was involved in the quality control sector of the company undertaking analytical testing on the various products produced on site prior to worldwide export.
Since joining MTD in 2012, Chris has been involved in numerous investigations of quality disputes and contaminations involving a variety of bulk liquid cargoes including crude oil, petroleum products, petrochemicals and industrial chemicals.
He also has experience of environmental monitoring following vessel casualties. During time spent working out of MTD’s Singapore office, Chris gained experience in the sampling and testing of bulk cargoes such as bauxite, nickel and iron ores with the particular focus on cargo liquefaction problems.
