NDT Trainee Programme

We are looking for driven individuals with a genuine interest in engineering to join our ever growing non-destructive testing trainee programme.

Minton Treharne & Davies are world leaders in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and are happy to count Rolls Royce, Airbus and BAE Systems within our client portfolio.

What Are We Offering?

We are offering the right candidates, the opportunity to become part of our very successful trainee programme where you will receive formal training courses at recognised training establishments, exams and certification alongside on-the-job training.

The trainee programme is divided in to 5 main areas of NDT; you will gain experience in all 5 areas:

  • Ultrasonic testing
  • Magnetic particle inspection
  • Eddy current testing
  • Liquid penetrant inspection
  • Radiographic testing

What's in it for you?

After successful completion of the programme you will gain full time employment as an NDT Technician at MTD Group:

  • Full time employment (37.5 hrs per week)
  • Starting salary between £12,000-£14,000
  • 25 days annual leave, plus 8 bank holidays

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for candidates with great communication skills and a hands on approach. Ideally you will have completed your A Levels, have good IT skills and have GCSE’s in Maths, English and Science. Applications from students with GCSE’s only are welcome.
